I’ve been reading the Gunnie Rose series by Charlaine Harris. It’s an alternate Earth taking place in the country of Texoma where FDR was assassinated before he was sworn in and the USA broke apart. I’ve been reading The Apothecary Diaries series by Natsu Hyuuga with Book 5 on pre-order. Takes place in a fictional country similar China during the time of the emperors, probably 17th century. Again, quite good.

No. I just read The Familiar by Leigh Bardugo. Classifies as fantasy, but not romantasy like the fad seems to be now Takes place in Spain during the reign of King Philip and the time of the Inquisition. Quite good.
